Ordering and Postage

When Will My Order Ship?

Our team needs up to 1 business days to pack and ship your order.

Where Do You Ship To?

In Europe we ship within the UK, Switzerland and the EU but unfortunately we are no longer delivering to Sweden, Denmark, Estonia and Malta because of unreliable customs authorities.

We also ship to the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. If you would like to make a specific request for deliveries to countries not listed please contact us using our contact us form.

How much does postage cost?

Postage to the UK: Gifts are packaged within one working day and are sent with the Royal Mail's Tracked 24 Service (delivered within approximately 1-2 working days), with Postage & Packaging FREE for orders over £30 and £4.95 otherwise. 

Postage to EU countries and Switzerland: Gifts are packaged within one working day and sent using the Royal Mail's Standard International service (delivered within approximately 3-5 working days), with Postage & Packaging costing £14.95. This includes tracking by delivery confirmation and all customs fees and taxes are covered by Postboxed in advance. 

Unfortunately we are no longer delivering to Sweden, Denmark Estonia and Malta because of unreliable customs authorities in these countries.

Postage to countries outside of the EU: We deliver to a number of countries outside of the EU using a tracked and/or signed service. Please see our Postage & Packaging page on or more information. 

Where is my order?

All of our gifts are sent out the same or next working day after the order is placed.

All UK orders are sent Tracked 24 with the Royal Mail who estimate deliveries to take 1-2 working days -this service is not tracked instantaneously but delivery confirmation is given when you use the tracking code (no information is given if the package has yet to be delivered).

If you selected an alternative delivery date we send the gift out one or two working days before. If you selected a date sooner date than is possible it is likely your gift will arrive late.

Can I choose when my gift(s) are sent?

Yes, if you do not wish your order to be shipped right away, choose a different delivery date on the bottom left of your shopping cart page. Please allow at least one working day for us to get the gift packaged and sent out and 1-2 days for delivery. Using the Royal Mail's First Class service (as described above), we will ship the order one business day before the desired delivery date. To be completely sure the gift arrives in time we recommend choosing the date before the day you would like the gift to arrive. 

Please note, gifts are not sent out for shipping by Postboxed on the weekend and no deliveries can be made by the Royal Mail on Sundays. If a Sunday is requested we will aim for the gift to be delivered on the Saturday. Please also note that we cannot guarantee delivery on any particular date as we rely on the Royal Mail's service and do not deliver the packages ourselves.

Do you offer corporate/business gifts?

Yes, we offer a fully flexible business letterbox gift service developed to make both sending and receiving gifts hassle-free. Our individual touches and flexibility make Postboxed attractive to businesses and corporations wishing to send multiple or regular gifts out to their employees, affiliates or clients. See ourBusiness & Corporate Services page for more details.

I want to send multiple gifts, how can I do this?

You can send multiple gifts to the SAME recipient just by adding the multiple gifts to the same order and paying as you would with just one item (paying P&P just once).  Wherever possible, Postboxed will try and pack the items together.  If this is not possible, and packing the items together means they are no longer packaged small enough to fit through post boxes (letterboxes), then we will package them separately (you will not be charged any extra for the P&P).

If you would like to send gifts to DIFFERENT recipients, then you will have to complete each order separately and pay the P&P for each address the gift(s) are delivered to.

How will the gifts be packaged?

All gifts are wrapped in our acid-free tissue paper and then in handmade decorative paper. We then place them in our letterbox friendly mailing boxes made from 100% recycled materials (they are also recyclable themselves).

Can I customise a gift message?

Yes, when you look at your ‘my cart’ page and review your order, there is a box for you to put a gift message.  This will be printed on our handmade, hand-gilded 300 gsm linen textured cards.

Returns

What if the recipient doesn’t like their gift?

This is not a problem, they can return the gift using the same box they received it in. Please see our Returns Policy for further details. We do not accept returns of edible items or earrings.

My Item Arrived Damaged. What Should I Do?

We apologise for any inconvenience caused. If your item arrived damaged, please contact our customer support team immediately. We can assist you in obtaining a replacement or refund as quickly as possible. To expedite the process, please provide photos of the damaged item and the packaging. Rest assured, we will do our best to resolve the issue and ensure your satisfaction with our products and services.
